UK rental company Crane Hire Solutions has taken delivery of a 20 tonne Kato CR-200Rf city type crane.
The CR-200Rf features a 28 metre, six section boom with a 5.8 metre telescopic jib, as well as a five tonne searcher hook. Purchased through Kato's European distributor, Rivertek Services, the new crane joins two 13 tonne Kato cranes in the company’s fleet.
Managing director, Keith Morgan, said: “We are delighted to add a new Kato city crane to our rental fleet. We like the build quality and reliability of Japanese manufactured cranes and we are sure that this new Kato will fit into our rental fleet well. We get a lot of work out of our 13 tonners so it is very easy for our operators to jump between the city cranes and cover the work coming in. We are really happy with the service and back up service from Rivertek so it was an easy decision to make for us.”
Crane Hire Solutions now has three Kato cranes in its fleet
Rivertek Services operations manager Ivan Bolster added: “It’s been a pleasure dealing with Keith and Sue at Crane Hire Solutions. These cranes are extremely versatile and manoeuvrable so combined with a fast set-up time they are excellent to go from jobsite to jobsite every day to get the job done. We are sure this crane will be a success within the CHS fleet and we look forward to supporting them in the future.”
