UK rental company Crane and Support Services (CASS) has taken delivery of a 13 tonne Kato CR-130Ri city type All Terrain crane.
The CR-130Ri features a 24 metre, six section boom with a two stage, 3.6 to 5.5 metre hydraulic luffing jib. The crane was delivered by Kato's European distributor Rivertek Services, and replaces a 10 tonne Kato CR-100 city type All Terrain crane.
CASS managing director Dennis Barrett said: “We are delighted to receive this 13 tonne Kato city crane into our fleet. It shall replace an older CR-100 model that we have operated for over 10 years. The long main boom, 5.5 metre hydraulic luffing jib and short tail swing radius of the crane are important features for us. Also an attractive factor is the low investment cost combined with high long term residual value of the asset.”
Rivertek Services managing director Colin Cleary added: “We are delighted to deliver this CR-130Ri to Crane and Support Services. We are sure that this Kato will prove to be as reliable as previous models but at the same time offering many new innovative features . We look forward to working with Dennis and supporting this crane in the future.”
Based in London, CASS covers a wide range of industries including house building, steel erection, tree surgery and mast installation.
