Two more European crane companies have added the compact 13 tonne Kato CR-130Ri city-type All Terrain crane to their fleets with both Emsley Crane Hire in the UK and Mentner Krane in Germany taking delivery of new units from European master distributor Rivertek.
The CR-130Ri has a 24 metre, six section boom with a two stage, 3.6 to 5.5 metre hydraulic luffing jib. The Emsley unit will replace a 10 tonne Kato CR-100 city-type All Terrain crane.
Managing director John Emsley said: “Down through the years we have purchased over 20 new Kato Cranes and they have always been a very reliable, fantastic crane. This new model is the first of many Katos that we plan to bring back into our fleet. It is a quality crane that is always in demand and we are very happy with the service and attention to detail shown by Rivertek.”
Emsley purchased its first city-type crane in 1998 and is celebrating 70 years in business this year. The new CR-130Ri will feature on the Rivertek stand at Vertikal Days in Silverstone in two weeks.
