UK rental company Welch Crane Hire has taken delivery of a 20 tonne Kato CR-200Ri city type All Terrain crane.
The CR-200Ri features a 28 metre main boom, topped by a four to 5.8 metre telescopic jib. The crane, delivered by Kato’s European distributor Rivertek Services, is the second Kato in the company’s fleet, joining a 25 tonne Kato CR-250, the fleet also includes a 40 tonne Tadano ATF 40G-2, and 55 tonne Liebherr LTM 1055-3.2 All Terrain cranes.
Welch Group operations manager Martin Burgess said: “Our existing Kato city crane has been an excellent asset within our crane fleet. We get a very high level of utilisation with a very low level of downtime, it’s a very reliable crane. We find that we can complete two or three different jobs on a daily basis. We are looking forward to running this new crane in our fleet.”
