UK rental company City Lifting has taken delivery of a new 20 tonne Kato CR-200Ri from European master distributor Rivertek Services.
The CR-200Ri has a 28 metre full power main boom, hydraulic jib and EU compliant Cummins diesel. Gross Vehicle Weight is 19,715 kg resulting in axle weights of less than 10 tonnes. The crane replaces a Tadano Crevo TR200EXC which the London based City Lifting has operated for a number of years.
Managing director Trevor Jepson said “We are delighted to add another Kato City crane. We have been very impressed with the Kato’s in our fleet to date and this further purchase streamlines our smaller capacity City crane range which is now exclusively Kato. All our City crane operators are familiar with these cranes and it makes it easier when changing from one crane to another.”
Colin Cleary, managing director of Rivertek added: “This purchase means that City Lifting can offer its customers the full three model range of Kato City cranes. This is a trend that is developing within some major crane hire companies as they expand their City crane division. We look forward to supporting this CR-200Ri and the team at City Lifting in the future.”
