KATO Cranes are back

KATO Works Co., Ltd have announced their return to the European Crane Market

The return of KATO Cranes, which are world famous for their quality, reliability, performance and resale value, will begin with the KATO CR-200Ri, 20 Ton City Crane which will launch in September 2015 in Ireland. This will be followed on by the KATO CR-350Ri, 35 Ton City Crane and the KATO CR-130Ri, 13 Ton City Crane later this year.

Like previous KATO City Cranes, which proved extremely popular in Europe, this new CR range boasts innovative features like Hydraulic Fly Jibs on all the range and on the 35 Ton Crane, the “Magic Reach” concept, a hydraulically telescoping and hydraulically luffing Fly Jib. Other innovative features include Outrigger length sensors on every model, very compact design incorporating ultra-short tail swing radius and latest eco technology offering energy savings of 10% over previous models. 

KATO’s return to Europe after more than 10 years of an absence is the product of a joint initiative between KATO & Rivertek Services Ltd based in Ireland.

Rivertek are part of the JCD Group and have group revenues for 2014 of € 42.5 million euro. Rivertek are the largest Crane Dealer in Ireland and have a significant presence in the UK with over 70% of their sales to UK Customers.
